I'm new to this blogging phenomenon and I think I'll be the only one writing on this thing. Blogs, Facebook, or any kind of online meeting place (except for Modern Warfare 2) isn't really Rick's thing. I want to write about everything. Our house, dogs, activities, my work (I'm in Outside Sales and I travel...A LOT), my thoughts, recipes, decorating ideas, etc. And here it goes...
Rick is an electrician and I work for the family businesses: Triple Crown Label and Dragonfly Garments. We manufacture labels and tags, and print and embroider everything from t-shirts to business cards to bags. People typically ask me, "What are labels?" The one explanation everyone always seems to understand...it's the label on a package of meat you buy at HEB that has the weight and price. Everything else we do is pretty self-explanatory. So, if you need anything like that or know of anyone who needs anything like that, contact me!
I travel almost every week looking for new business and visiting current customers. I'm currently in Houston. I will be in the Valley next week, catching a flight to Dallas the week after, then I will be saying "HELLO!!!!" to my beautiful Florida vacation the week after that. In between all of that I'm moving, playing volleyball, taking a camping trip, enjoying summer, celebrating birthdays, and hopefully shopping. To say that I'm busy for the next month is an understatement. I'm busy, life is hectic, but I can't imagine my life any other way.
Aside from the above, I would like to try to cook, decorate, and entertain more...and keep record of it all by keeping up with this little handy blog! You readers (if there are any of you out there) are in for a treat! So, put your seats in the upright position and fasten your seat belts...this plane is takin' off!!!
